New year, New beginnings??
So 2007 is here already. Someone please tell me where 2006 went? It zoomed past at an incredible speed!!
So let’s see what has happened over these past few weeks ……. [in pictures!]
Viewers advised – the following post is full of miserable ramblings made by ‘Frank’. The New Year has made ‘Frank’ more pessimistic then ever [must be old age but don’t you dare tell her that to her face!!]

Christmas was uneventful. Why people go completely crazy over just one day – I will never understand. They tend to start Christmas shopping sometime in the summer, run around like complete idiots trying to find the decent present, obtaining the ‘right’ food to eat over this period etc and for what? A day where family members get together [who normally bitch about each other for the rest of the year – hmmm sounds familiar(!)], eat more than your own body weight, drink more alcohol then a camel drinks water, sleep & watch dreadful TV [Apart from Eastenders & Vicar Of Dibley]
Don’t even get me started on the hanging [soz for the picture!] of Saddam Hussein. One, why the hell didn’t they let him live and rot in jail for the rest of his miserable life and two why the fuck didn’t they hang him at Christmas instead of choosing the most religious time for all Muslims - Eid
Speaking of Eid, for me it was also miserable – the weather didn’t help matters. I was glad when that day was over as well as the holidays so I could go back to work!
New years celebration’s was a bore. Our local celebrations where cancelled due to the crappy weather – so I watched the live new years celebrations from London on TV. I have to admit I did shed a tear or two, not because I felt emotional over the firework display or seeing people of all ages, colour & backgrounds come together to celebrate but it’s difficult to explain [ but I’m sure there are people out there who will completely understand what I was going through ….. ]
Celebrity Big Brother – who the hell are these so called celebrities? I had no idea that the Indian woman was a Bollywood actress. She is so full of herself!! “I’ve been called the Indian Angelina Jolie” – no, your not love!
Finally Becks! I have never hidden the fact that I love this guy. Used to watch every Manchester United match so that I could watch him in action! Then he moved to Real Madrid [ but at least he was in Europe] and then played shite football at the world cup but now he’s moving across the pond to join LA Galaxy [who the hell are they??] for a whopping £128 million!! That’s £50 a minute!! Becks reportedly said about the move "it’s not about the money", Yes darling, keep telling yourself that …… Bet Posh was behind this all!! World domination is her plan! [ Pinky and the Brain anyone??] LOL, I’ll calm down now … good luck to the Beckhams, your going to need it.
